MASSACHUSETTS MASSACRE

Brown 52  Coakley 47.

Angry Dems blame their player, Coakley, for the loss. Say she dropped the ball, did not run well, made too many errors. But since when did these things matter in Massachusetts where the only real challenge was getting the Democratic nomination? The Commonwealth state had not elected a Republican to the Senate in over 30 years. Of their ten elected House members not one is a Republican.

Coakley did not blow it, Washington did.  The terrible triumvirate was responsible, Pelosi, Reid and Obama in that order. Yes, Congress more so than the President. Google their approval ratings.

The Boston Tea Party of 1773  was not about breaking away from England. It was about not being heard. The protest slogan then was “No taxation without representation“. Today’s Tea Party movement is also about not being heard. With Tuesday’s vote the people screamed. Blaming Coakley and her campaign tells me the people are still not being heard.

UPDATE

Power Line reports only 12% of voters in Massachusetts are registered as Republicans
