THE BEGINNING

This is a test. Or better said, a learning session. I have been blogging at Town Hall but their support for the great unwashed among bloggers slid from nil to less than nil, which is to say impossibly low. This is my first post as an independent blogger.

I intend to solicit comments. At this point hints and ‘how to’ comments would be greatly appreciated. I am an ultra newbie and embarrassingly ignorant about how to set up the blog.

I notice the time assigned to my post is GMT where EST would be more appropriate given my location. Labeling the time as GMT would do equally as well.

UPDATE II

I found out how to set the time stamp to EST.  Another  step in the learning process completed.
