MASSACHUSETTS MASSACRE

Brown 52  Coakley 47.

Angry Dems blame their player, Coakley, for the loss. Say she dropped the ball, did not run well, made too many errors. But since when did these things matter in Massachusetts where the only real challenge was getting the Democratic nomination? The Commonwealth state had not elected a Republican to the Senate in over 30 years. Of their ten elected House members not one is a Republican.

Coakley did not blow it, Washington did.  The terrible triumvirate was responsible, Pelosi, Reid and Obama in that order. Yes, Congress more so than the President. Google their approval ratings.

The Boston Tea Party of 1773  was not about breaking away from England. It was about not being heard. The protest slogan then was “No taxation without representation“. Today’s Tea Party movement is also about not being heard. With Tuesday’s vote the people screamed. Blaming Coakley and her campaign tells me the people are still not being heard.

UPDATE

Power Line reports only 12% of voters in Massachusetts are registered as Republicans

Actually you are welcome to lurk and laugh, even snicker. However, please be advised we deny responsibility for words written during this pre Grand Opening phase. They are from the mouth pen fingers of someone in search of a donkey to compare with his elbow.

It is all for the purpose of learning how WordPress works.

At his point it is still mostly ¥≈δ∞∏¤ to me.  I think HTML must stand for Howmanee Things Mustb Learnt.

PROGRESSING INVISIBLY

Posting herewith just to maintain currency of proficiency. Progress is ongoing but most of it is not observable externally. When ready to launch there will be a Grand Opening with coffee and donuts. No wine and cheese, lest we be viewed as elitist.

THE BEGINNING

This is a test. Or better said, a learning session. I have been blogging at Town Hall but their support for the great unwashed among bloggers slid from nil to less than nil, which is to say impossibly low. This is my first post as an independent blogger.

I intend to solicit comments. At this point hints and ‘how to’ comments would be greatly appreciated. I am an ultra newbie and embarrassingly ignorant about how to set up the blog.

UPDATE

I notice the time assigned to my post is GMT where EST would be more appropriate given my location. Labeling the time as GMT would do equally as well.

UPDATE II

I found out how to set the time stamp to EST.  Another  step in the learning process completed.
