Black girls beat a white girl into seizure in McDonalds. One man stands at a safe distance asking them to stop it. The only one who steps in to stop it is an elderly white woman. This is about as ugly as it gets. We dislike reporting it but if these things are not reported they will never be stopped.

BLACK LEADER CALLS FOR RETURN TO SEGREGATED EDUCATION – WE DON’T WANT WHITE PEOPLE TEACHING OUR KIDS IN SCHOOL

Panelists, speaking to an all black audience, fan the flames against whitey with these thoughts and remarks. Panelist Bakewell -“I will not turn the education of my children over to another class of people because, many times, they come back hating me.” If blacks are not seen working on a construction project the project should be shut down. Al Sharpton –  “They don’t want to deal with us.” [ Sharpton forgets, “they” elected a black man President]. Sharpton again – The reason Obama’s approval rating is declining is because the [white] media is trying to split us by pitting blacks against blacks (paraphrased). A member of the audience is given the microphone – He pleads for a leader to rise up dedicated to fighting the Tea Party which the speaker sees as ripe with racism. These leaders are not exercising the art of of healing. They are practicing the profession of community organizing, Alinsky style.

BP OIL SPILL – ONE YEAR LATER

Offshore oil production – down 13%

Price of crude oil – up 35%

Of the 20B dollars Obama coerced BP to put in his control:

3.5B dollars has been awarded to residents and business hurt by the spill,

16.5B remains available to spread around at the discretion of Obama appointee, Ken Feinberg.

To put that into perspective, 16B is about 14 times the amount each candidate spent on the last presidential campaign. Obama has shown he doesn’t know much about American history but he certainly has learned a lot about Chicago politics.

“TAX EXPENDITURES” IS THE ADMINISTRATIONS LATEST PROPAGANDIC AND IT’S A DOOZEY

Given the current debt ceiling debate I thought it timely to bring this post forward. You should know that “reducing tax expenditures” is DC Speak for raising taxes. This post was originally published in April 2011.

From the New York Times

Mr. Obama described what he called a “debt fail-safe”: “If, by 2014, our debt is not projected to fall as a share of the economy — if we haven’t hit our targets, if Congress has failed to act — then my plan will require us to come together and make up the additional savings with more spending cuts and more spending reductions in the tax code.”

“Spending reductions in the tax code” to bring down the deficit sounds appealing… unless you understand it. Exactly what are “spending reductions in the tax code”? The Browns explain it in their post at Townhall.com.

If you assume that all money belongs to the government [ ] then all money doled out to the pockets of Americans must be expenditures.

It works like this. You buy a home and pay lots of interest to the bank in the form of a mortgage. When at the end of the year we add up your income, you are allowed to deduct the interest you paid to the bank from that income. This lowers your overall income tax bill.

Republicans believe that the lower tax bill is your total tax bill. Obama believes that your tax bill was actually higher, and the government was giving you money to help pay the mortgage. Hence, when he takes away your mortgage deduction, he is actually cutting a government “tax expenditure.”

In the mindset  of Barack Obama the portion of your income that you’re allowed to keep is a government expense. Any change in the tax code that increases the amount you can keep (reduces your taxes) is a government expense. By this convoluted reasoning, taking away a traditional deduction is a reduction in “tax expenditures”.

Read that clip from the New York Times again. You will see that Obama’s “debt fail-safe” plan calls for automatic tax increases if the government overspends. Calling a tax increase a “reduction in expenditures” is not only the ultimate propagandic, it is intensely dishonest. And Obama and the Democrats are not the only ones that do it.

OBAMA’S BUDGET SPEECH –VIDEO AND OPINION

Charles Krauthammer called the speech “a disgrace”. He said he rarely heard a presidential speech so shallow, hyper-partisan and so intellectually dishonest. “It was quite remarkable for the extent of demagoguery” contained in the speech. The video of his comments are here.

The Wall Street Journal had equal praise for the President’s remarks. “with its blistering partisanship and multiple distortions it was the kind Presidents usually outsource to some junior lieutenant. Mr. Obama’s fundamentally political document would have been unusual even for a Vice President in the fervor of a campaign.” “Mr. Obama then packaged his poison in the rhetoric of bipartisanship—which ‘starts,’ he said, ‘by being honest about what’s causing our deficit.’ The speech he chose to deliver was dishonest even by modern political standards.”

Here at Random Thots, we noticed some oddities as well. The first thing we caught was the President’s statement that “everybody pays taxes”. Actually, it’s something like 30% that pay no taxes at all. Later he said we lost our way in the 90’s by overspending. A few sentences later he said we need to get back to the fiscal responsibility we showed in the 90’s. I know, that’s nitpicking, but it was a prepared speech and I do expect better from the President of the United States.

He was biting his lip at the end of his sentences. His demeanor appeared like that of someone who could hardly hold his contempt. Obama doesn’t do well with numbers. Paul Ryan is more than his match.

David Plouffe, senior advisor to President Obama said in a television interview yesterday, “There is zero chance that Donald Trump would ever be hired by the American people to do this job.”

We hired a black liberationist community organizer who launched his political career with support, and from the home of a pair of anti-American terrorists, didn’t we? Why doesn’t a pompous overbearing humorless arrogant real estate developer who believes in America have a chance?

Reuters reports:
“Republicans want to shut down the government because they think there’s nothing more important than keeping women from getting cancer screenings.” Reid said on the Senate floor.

Republicans want to Kill Women
One of the leading pro-abortion members of the House is causing furor with her comment to the effect that the pro-life Republicans recently elected to Congress want women to die of cancer.

Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (D NY) compared Republican efforts to revoke taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood to actions taken by the Nazi regime in Germany during World War II.

“This is probably one of the worst times we’ve seen because the numbers of people elected to Congress. I went through this as co-chair of the arts caucus,” Slaughter said, according to a CNS News report. ”In ’94 people were elected simply to come here to kill the National Endowment for the Arts. Now they’re here to kill women.”

There are three things I would like to see documented:
1. How many times Democrat politicos have compared conservatives to Nazis in a public forum, and that includes organized demonstrations.
2. How many times Democrat politicos have accused conservatives of doing that in public forums.
3. How often conservatives have actually done it.

John E. Silvia is the chief economist at Wells Fargo bank. On Wednesday he told CNBC that “the plot in Greece and Portugal sounds an awful lot like the same plot that’s going on in the United States”, the only thing different is the names of the players, he said.

Mitch Daniels, the governor of Indiana, sees the path the nation is on as one ending in insolvency. “It’s not a question of philosophy. It’s simply arithmetic.” he said.

Last October we published an article entitled “Fruit from the Obama Tree” in which we quoted Pravda.

Commenting in the Spring of 2009, “like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath-taking speed.”

Whatever one may say about PRAVDA, they know Marxism when they see it.

Senator Schumer (D-NY) tells fellow Democrats to use the word “extreme” when speaking to the press about the Republican efforts to trim about 3% from the Democrat’s spending plan. Considering the direction in which the country is going, a better word for attempting to trim the budget by only 3%  might be “pathetic”.

PRIVATELY WEALTHY MICHAEL MOORE VEHEMENTLY CONDEMNS PEOPLE WHO ARE PRIVATELY WEALTHY

Michael Moore’s voice was quivering with rage as he spoke to the demonstrating Union members at Madison, Wisconsin. There can be no doubt he believes what he says. I award him a tarnished silver star for that because it is an honorable personal characteristic. The star isn’t golden because his sincerity stands alone as the only decent thing about the monstrous man. The star is tarnished because, although he believes what he says, he does not do according to what he believes.

The master maker of propaganda movies goes beyond the idea that the wealthy should give up some of their wealth in the name of “social justice”. He doesn’t believe it is their wealth in the first place.

Here are Michael Moore’s words.
America is not broke. Not by a long shot. The country is awash in wealth and cash. It is just that IT..IS..NOT..IN..YOUR..HANDS! It has been transferred in the greatest heist in history from the workers [to the portfolios of the super rich].

What Moore is saying is that the money and property now owned by the likes of Oliver Stone, Steve Jobs and your favorite sports star should stripped from them by the government and given to union workers from whom he believes it was literally stolen. To sincerely believe this, you must either (1) be handicapped with a extremely low level of intelligence or (2) have surrendered your mind and soul to envy (3) totally ignorant of right from wrong or (4) or demented.

Moore is smart. Given his personal wealth, I doubt he is consumed with envy. Moore does have a sense of right and wrong, although you may not agree with it. That leaves demented. That is as charitable as I can get.

OBAMA DOES AS OBAMA IS

Thomas Sowell had this to say about Barack Obama:

Many people in various parts of the political spectrum are expressing a sense of disappointment with Obama. But I have not felt the least bit disappointed.

Once in office, President Obama has done exactly what his whole history would lead you to expect him to do– such as cutting the military budget and vastly expanding the welfare state.

He has by-passed the Constitution by appointing power-wielding “czars” who don’t have to be confirmed by the Senate like Cabinet members, and now he has by-passed Congress by taking military actions based on authorization by the United Nations and the Arab League.

Those who expected his election to mark a new “post-racial” era may be the most disappointed. He has appointed people with a track record of race resentment promotion and bias, like Attorney General Eric Holder and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Disappointing? No. Disgusting? Yes. The only disappointment is with voters who voted their hopes and ignored his realities.
